We've done many things together
that have brought out
your best qualities
and have reminded me why
I fell in love with you so long ago.
Raising our children is one of these.
Next to you, they are the
most precious people in my life,
and their happiness means
everything to me.
I don't think we could have ever
imagined what was in store for us
when we set ourselves up for
the adventure of being parents.
Making the decision
hasn't always come naturally,
and some situations have caused us
unnecessary guilt and worry.
As difficult as it's been some times,
I know I couldn't do it without your help.
You've guided our children with love
and firmness,
humor and gentleness.
You've helped me to have confidence
when I worried that we weren't
doing things right,
and you've comforted me when things
didn't turn out as we hoped.
You're the type of person
our children can love and respect,
and they do.
So do I.
